
As per the verdict of the Devaprasnam held in April 2007 the renovation of the temple became inevitable. It was advised that Bhadrakali the principal diety should be worshiped in the main sanctum sanctorum and the Upa-Devas namely Ganesha Mahavishnu in the form of Salagrama, Shiva and Durga should be worshiped in two other sanctum sanctorums. Hence the necessity arose for the reconstruction of the main sanctum sanctorum and also construction of two Srikovils one for Ganesha and other for Durga and other Thevaramoorthis

The globally renouned vasthu consultant Shri Kanipayoor Krishnan Namboodiripadu prepared the master plan for the new temple complex. Ttraditional kerala temple architure style is followed in the construction. The founadtion and walls of the main sanctum sanctorum would be made of krishansila. The roof would be made of wood covered with copper. A valakku madom would be built around this in wood covered with brass sheet. When finished, this temple would be a shinning example of the splendid Kerala architecture.
Approximate expenses amounting to Rs. 75 lakhs is budgeted for the civil construction and another Rs. 15 lakhs for Kumbabishekham.
